Officers want to remind drivers to not drink and drive.
Make sure your vehicle is in good working order.
And allow extra time when traveling.
"There are many construction areas around the state of Indiana you're going to see some lane closures so slow downs some congested areas be patient allow for that and use extra caution," Joe Watts, public information officer with the Indiana State Police Department said.
Indiana State police say the goal of these crackdowns is to show drivers that the department is working to keep the roadways safe.
