It's an event that draws thousands to the Wabash Valley.
However, a lot of people left the area last night.
Heavy rain forced officials to cancel evening events at the extravaganza.
But things were back up and running Sunday at the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
Organizers don't expect last night's rain to have an impact on the overall numbers for the weekend.
"The crowd that we have today for all of the drag racing is about the same amount of people that have been here in the past, so I don't thinks it's impacted attendance for today's events," Billie Kauffman, marketing director for Scheid Diesel said.
Official attendance numbers aren't in just yet.
Organizers expect the number of attendees to exceed the 15,000 mark.
That's around the same as last year.
