Clay County Emergency Management is hoping to add another ambulance to its force.

The county currently has two ambulances... one in Brazil and the other in Clay City. Having a third ambulance would greatly benefit the county according to Emergency Management Director Bryan Husband.

Bryan Husband said, "If we catch multiple calls or multiple ambulances are needed in locations for accidents and other things it would just give us a little bit quicker response time in getting those ambulances to the scene."

An additional ambulance is contingent upon budget. Clay County uses Trans-Care ambulances... they are looking at other proposals.
