Another year is in the books for Scheid Diesel Fest and local police agencies are still gathering numbers together for arrests and citations given outside of the fairgrounds.

The good news is Indiana State Police and Indiana State Excise Police issued significantly less citations this weekend compared to years past.

The Terre Haute Police Department handed out a few and Vigo County Sheriff's Department is still gathering their data from the weekend.

ISP's Sgt. Joe Watts says this year seemed to be more calm on the traffic side. They issued 167 traffic citations compared to last year's 538 and 2012's 755. But, they saw some unusual behavior this year.

Watts said, "When we were clearing the large parking areas, the large parking lots: K-Mart, Walmart East, Plaza North, so on and so forth and some of the local hotels... party goers would throw beer bottles and cans at law enforcement this year. That's not happened in the past.">>

He says most everyone else evacuated those lots in a safe manner.
