First Prairie Creek Baptist Church reopens after a December blaze that took their 138-year-old building. They rebuilt from the ashes.

It's an exciting feeling and relief for the congregation to be back in their church. They've spent months together in the Prairie Creek Community Center. What's important... they've stayed together through the tribulation.

Prior to the fire in December, First Prairie Creek Baptist Church was adding on. Construction had been started on an addition to the church... It was untouched in the fire. At the time, the construction wasn't fully funded. But now, the church community has come together and raised enough money for the addition and rebuilding of the original church structure.

First Prairie Creek Baptist Church reopened July 13. They plan to hold an open house in late September or early October when church pues are in place.
