A car crash in Clay County turns into a drug bust.

It happened Tuesday night on State Road 46.

Indiana State Police say a trooper saw a car leave the roadway, hit an ebankment, a yard sign and then crash into a large bale of hay.

The driver was Jody Allen Bush of Terre Haute.

Police say they found 61 hypodermic needles, some of which contained meth. Police say they also found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Bush is in the Clay County Jail facing various drug charges.
