The Indiana Blood Center says they currently have a stable supply of blood donations, but that could change.
The 60 Indiana hospitals they serve have a high demand and may leave the center not having the blood supply they need.
Today, one of the center's corporate donors, Novelis, helped make sure the demand can continue to be met.
Shelly shearer says these partners and community members are extremely important, "This is actually their fifth blood drive of the year. We kind of call it curbside community service, where we bring the blood mobile to the people and they get people registered and everybody donates and we try to make sure our inventory is well supplied to our local hopsitals."
