Featherstone Pleads Guilty To Murder

Terre Haute - A Terre Haute man charged in the murder of a local radio DJ has pleaded guilty to felony murder.

Vigo County Prosecutor Terry Modesitt confirmed to WTWO news Friday that Featherstone signed the plea agreement Friday afternoon, which caps the prison sentence at 50 years.

Although, under Indiana law, one must serve at least 45 years on all murder cases.

Modesitt also says that the family was in agreement with the plea.

Featherstone is set to go on trial March 12th on charges of murder, burglary and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.

Local radio DJ Matt Luecking was found dead at his apartment in October of 2016.
