The state of Indiana is dolling out a second round of money to help schools improve security.

It's a matching grant that schools can use to hire resource officers, do threat assessments or buy security equipment.

Schools with more than 1,000 students can apply for up to $50,000 a year. Schools with less than 1,000 students can apply for up to $35,000.

The application deadline is March 10.
