You never know where life may take you and your classmates after you graduate from high school

Three Terre Haute South grads went on to have lives full of distinction and they were honored for their effort Friday.

Terre Haute South hosted its 2014 Hall of Distinction Ceremony.

1983 graduate Christopher Kyle was inducted. Kyle has written a number of off-Broadway plays and written for television shows and movies.

Also inducted was 2002 graduate Eli Stulmacker. He's a former Navy Seal who now trains Navy snipers.

1979 grad David Yates is another inductee. He's an electrical engineer who has 38 U.S. Patents. Yates now lives in Ohio but says he has fond memories of Terre Haute and was glad to be back.

There are a lot of changes and a lot of things that stayed the same, but it's nice to see all that is going on,” Yates says.

There will also be a dinner Saturday night at the Terre Haute Country Club to honor the new Hall of Distinction members.
