Saint Mary-of-the-Woods President Dottie King is staying on board for at least another three years.
The college's board of trustees decided unanimously to renew her contract. King became the school's 16th president in 2011.
In that time the college has landed in the top five percent of Best Regional Colleges in the Midwest by U.S News and World Report.
King also led an $11 million fundraising effort to build a sports complex which is set to open this fall.
Her contract is now extended until 2017.
