Many schools in the Wabash Valley are making up for lost time this year. Snow days are forcing North Vermillion schools to extend their days by 45 minutes.

The longer days start Monday, March 3 and end on May 6.

The start of the school day will stay the same, But the elementary students will wrap up at 3:45 p.m. and the high school will finish at 4 p.m.

Vigo County Superintendent Danny Tanoos says he'll announce how the school district will make up their snow days next week in case more days are missed.
