Chancellor Ann Valentine has announced she's leaving the college at the end of the school year.
Valentine took over that top spot in 2011.
In that time, she led efforts to re-design learning spaces and oversaw the start of new programs, in addition to economic and charitable work in the community.
During her tenure, Ivy Tech of the Wabash Valley improved its student retention rate to its highest level.
Valentine says she's pursing other opportunities in higher ed. Her last day is May 15.
