Indiana State University - On the ISU campus, thousands turned out for the annual Earth Day celebration.
It was certainly a great day for the outdoor event. About 30 local vendors set up on the quad, and not just any business can participate. Each booth has to be connected to sustainability or offer something to help the environment.
"Students and faculty, people in the community really seem to love it. They love the vendors, the music, taking pictures with Sycamore Sam."
ISU's Earth Day celebration has grown a lot over the years. It started in 2009 as a speaker series in the biology department.
