Burgoo Stew and Mint Julep

1 pkg roast beef
1 lb. smoked pulled pork
1 lb. pulled chicken
1 lb. ground veal (optional)
peppers, onions (5 oz each)
12 oz. sweet potatoes
1 pkg. carrot chips
2 small garlic cloves
2 small red chili peppers
28 oz chicken stock
28 oz beef stock
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 pkg frozen corn
1 pkg frozen lima beans
salt and pepper, worcestershire sauce all to taste
2 sticks butter (4 oz each)

In stew pot add chicken stock, beef stock and tomato sauce.
add carrot chips, crushed tomatoes, corn, lima beans, pulled pork, chicken and beef.
Cut up chili peppers and add. Put two sticks of butter in seperate skillet to saute garlic cloves, onion, celery, peppers and sweet potatoes until veggies are soft then add to stew pot.
season with worcestershire and salt and pepper to taste.

Mint Julep:
1C. water
1C. Powdered Sugar
Fresh mint sprigs
Crushed ice
Bring water and sugar
To a boil. Let syrup
cool & muddle 8 sprigs.
Fill glass w/ ice
Add 1/2 shot syrup
Add 1/2 shot bourbon
Garnish w/ Mint
