Taylor Williams

Taylor Williams joined WTWO as a Multimedia Journalist in June 2017 after graduating from the University of Evansville (UE) with a double major in Communication and Writing, specializing in Journalism.

Born and raised on her family's farm in Northeast Indiana, Taylor fell in love with news as a child watching the local news with her family. (Even now, Taylor is a news-nerd at her core and can often be found watching several news stations at once.

She is no stranger to the newsroom after having interned at news stations in Fort Wayne and Evansville, she gained hands-on experience reporting on a wide-range of stories such as a silo painted as a Minion, to the 2016 Presidential Election.

During her time at UE, Taylor kept herself busy. While on campus she was was a producer and radio personality for her campus radio station, an executive producer of the university's television and marketing group, and involved heavily in numerous leadership organizations. Taylor was a photographer and photo editor for the campus yearbook and magazine, where she won several Indiana Collegiate Press awards for her photography and camera skills. She also worked as a camera operator and assistant producer for ESPN3. Also, while attending UE, Taylor spent a semester abroad living and studying at Harlaxton College in England.

When she's not working Taylor enjoys, reading, writing, traveling, spending time with family and friends and is an avid sports fan.
