Mike Tank

Mike's arrival at WTWO is a homecoming of sorts. He's been visiting family and friends in Terre Haute since the 1990's and has enjoyed many activities and events in the Wabash Valley.

Prior to WTWO, Mike worked for stations in Iowa, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Florida. He also served as a show host, play-by-play announcer and voice talent for ESPN, Fox Sports, PGA TOUR Entertainment and other cable networks. Most recently he operated a video production business in the Atlanta metro area.

Mike grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota where he helped his family plant, plow and raise livestock. He played football and basketball in high school, and was a college football walk-on.

Speaking of sports, Mike once drove seven hours to watch Terre Haute South take on Damon Bailey and Bedford North Lawrence. He also drove through a blizzard to watch Bobby Knight's Hoosiers beat Iowa State.

Mike's wife, Kristin Dodd-Tank, graduated from Terre Haute South and Indiana University. Most recently, she served as an on-camera meteorologist on The Weather Channel. They have three daughters including a 2016 graduate of Indiana State, a daughter at The University of Georgia and their youngest girl is in middle school.
