Caitlin Centner joined the NBC newscast in April 2014 as a multimedia journalist. Caitlin grew up in a suburb outside of Cincinnati on the northern Kentucky side of the Ohio River. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University. She majored in journalism and minored in electronic media and broadcasting. Prior to moving to the Wabash Valley, Caitlin worked at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati as a production assistant.
While in school she was highly involved in NKU's student newspaper, The Northerner. She was an arts and life editor for the paper and president of NKU's chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Caitlin won an award for news writing at the SPJ regional conference in St. Louis.
Caitlin was raised a Louisville Cardinals fan. A perfect day for her would be spent at Great American Ballpark watching the Cincinnati Reds. Although she'll be craving Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn ribs and Graeter's ice cream, Caitlin is excited for everything that living and working in the Wabash Valley entails!
